We share the bitter-sweet news that Dr. Ryan Matthiesen has been selected as the healthcare administrator for the Denton UNT campus. Dr. Matthiesen greatly enjoyed his time at MaxHealth and while the decision was difficult, ultimately the opportunity was too great to refuse. In this position Dr. Matthiesen will oversee student and employee health services, create healthcare policy for these institutions and the university as a whole, and continue to provide direct medical care for the athletic department and student athletes on campus. Dr. Matthiesen’s last day with MaxHealth will be Friday, March 7th.
We are committed to making this as smooth a transition as possible. We have providers currently available to address all your health care needs. As far as Sport Medicine healthcare needs, our providers have experience with ingrown toenail removals, joint injections including knees, shoulders, and hips, as well as concussion management. MaxHealth will maintain custodianship of your medical records. To obtain a copy of your medical records, you will need to complete the MaxHealth Medical Records Request FROM Us form on our website at www.maxhealthmed.com.
