Jignesh “Jay” P. Mistry, MPAS, PA, was born in India and moved to Chicago when he was 5, but was lucky because his parents chose to move to Dallas, Texas. In high school, Jignesh volunteered at Baylor Hospital where he earned over a thousand hours of community service. During his time with Baylor, he became interested in the medical profession and patient care. He graduated from Southern Methodist University with a BA in Biology and then followed medical school dreams to the Caribbean and obtained a Bachelors of Medical Sciences at Saba University. Jay came back to Texas wanting to focus his studies in the US and attended Alderson Broaddus College in Philippi, WV and graduated with his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies.
While studying in his Master’s program, his Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and this together with traditional therapies, he also researched alternative methods for treatment which led him to join Gonino Wellness Center in Heath, TX after graduation. Under Dr. John Gonino’s mentorship, Jay learned about alternative medicines and hormone replacement therapies treating males and females. His passion for treating men and women with HRT started here and has continued in his years of experience. Jay has worked with many different clinics in the DFW area working with top notch peers in the hormone replacement therapy arena. He even established one of the first men's clinics in Dallas with 0 patients growing to over 600+ monthly, by word of mouth and his knowledge of the industry.
Jay joined Elevate HRT and MaxHealth to provide hormone replacement therapy and family medicine. He truly loves his career and has a passion for bringing care to his patients. Jay met his wife, Trisha, while in college, and they have 2 boys, Reeyan, 13, and Kian 6. His family is active in sports activities, school events, and immersing the boys in Indian culture. They enjoy spending time with their family, friends, travelling, and being Foodies! They love calling Texas home, for the food, friends, and spirit. Go Cowboys!!
