Luke Halterman

MaxFitness

Luke Halterman was born and raised in the small town of Dayton, Virginia. Growing up in the small-town life, Luke has always had the dream to move to the big city. Once Luke completed two years of college in 2011, he decided it was time to do bigger things and chase opportunities in the great state of Texas.

Once Luke moved to Texas, he met his lovely wife of 10 years, Jordan. Luke and Jordan have three beautiful children, Rowen (11), Lilian (8) and Zoey (2).

Fitness has always been a passion for Luke, but he wanted to start expressing that by helping others. In 2014, Luke became a NASM certified personal trainer and started his first training position at LA Fitness. After a year of dipping his toes into the fitness industry, Luke then became an assistant rehab therapist for Dr. Brian Nimphius in 2015 where he honed his skills for 5 years.

In 2020, Luke had the wonderful opportunity to become the general manager for a new gym opening up in Southlake, TX. The gym unfortunately went under due to the pandemic, but during his short tenure Luke furthered his education by becoming nutritional certified through ACE and certified to analyze gait. Luke began working for MaxFitness in August of 2021 and has never felt more at home when clocking in.

Luke doesn’t just preach fitness, he lives it! When he’s not at home being a family man, Luke is training to become a better athlete himself. Luke is an elite obstacle course racer and an American Ninja Warrior! Luke has competed in multiple world championship obstacle course races and has multiple wins under his belt. Luke is also striving to get back on the hit TV show, American Ninja Warrior in hopes to continue to spread his message and love for fitness to the world.
